In Côte d’Ivoire, more than 150 rural villages now have a reliable means to store water for irrigation. This progress has been made possible thanks to a flexible tank developed by Pronal. Designed to adapt to challenging terrains, it is part of a comprehensive system for supplying both drinking and agricultural water. This solution is essential in areas that are often remote and far from traditional networks.
In many rural areas, access to water remains a major issue. To address this, Pronal has designed a 50 m³ flexible tank specifically for agricultural irrigation. It is lightweight, easy to transport, and quick to install. Moreover, it is well-suited to withstand local climate conditions. Thanks to this solution, farmers can better cultivate their land, directly improving the lives of local residents.
An integrated, autonomous, and sustainable solution
The Pronal flexible tank does not operate on its own. It is part of a complete system: water drilling, treatment, storage, and distribution. The entire setup is powered by a 1,440 Wp solar system, ensuring full energy autonomy.
Depending on the location, the system produces between 10 and 30 m³ of water per day. It uses few consumables and requires minimal maintenance. For added safety, solar lighting is included in the installations.
Pronal’s expertise serving rural development
With this 50 m³ flexible tank solution, Pronal is fully committed to the development of rural areas. This project highlights our expertise in designing reliable, simple, and durable equipment. It addresses both humanitarian and environmental challenges.
